Fuel loop

Scavenging decisions feed directly into the train's ability to move and protect the crew from the cold. Fuel and power are related operating systems, but the public information does not yet expose a complete simulation model.

  • Recover or produce fuel
  • Load it into the Eden Engine
  • Maintain movement and heat
  • Plan reserves before entering a new level

What the official media shows

An official Steam screenshot shows the armored locomotive in a blizzard, and another shows an onboard furnace labeled POWER and HEAT. The April 2026 playtest brief tells players to fuel and conduct the train. None of those images label a carried log, branch, or charcoal unit.
