Cold protection

Cold and blizzards can impair visibility and movement and eventually become lethal. Lead designer Ez Jämsen says warmer clothing is one of the ways players mitigate that pressure.

Warmth & exposure

Developer demonstrations describe a warmth bar that depletes during outdoor exploration. When it reaches zero, health begins to fall. Visual cues intensify as the character freezes, while the train remains the crew's reliable heat source.
