Upgrade progression

Recovered materials are reinvested in the train, turning exploration into persistent capability. Public materials confirm the direction of this loop but do not publish a final tech tree or optimal order.

Engine upgrades can improve speed and the weight the locomotive can pull. Because extra carriages demand more power, expansion is presented as an operating tradeoff rather than a purely cosmetic upgrade.

  • Protect the locomotive
  • Expand production and storage
  • Balance extra carriages against power demand
  • Improve speed and pulling capacity
  • Prepare for train-defense encounters
